Introducing the new XR8 Pro 1/8th scale Esc.
The Esc uses similar software to our successful XR10 Pro 1/10th Esc.
100% Full-sensored Mode Support.
The XR8 PRO Esc is designed to work in full-sensored mode at all times (when it is paired with a compatible HOBBYWING motor).Example G3 Series
This ESC paired with a compatible Hobbywing motor can use the Turbo Timing technology which was designed for the successful XR10 Pro used in 1/10th On-Road and off road Competition.This Esc can support up to 48 degrees of Boost and Turbo Timing When paired with the new Hobbywing 4268/4274 G3 motor series with an increase of 50% more performance than the previous G2 Series motor keeping you way ahead of the competition.
Internal Battery-Reverse Polarity Protection.
The Xr8 Pro is designed with Built-in Reverse Voltage Protection circuit.The circuit will Protect the Esc's components from reverse polarity of the battery connections.
Wireless Programming /Firmware Upgrading / Data reading
With Hobbywing's OTA module and a smartphone (with the HOBBYWING HW Link App installed), the user can program parameters, upgrade firmware and check relevant data of the ESC.
Real time information of the operational Running Status with Real-time Data Recording Function.
With Hobbywing's OTA(Over the air) module, Connect the HW Link App to the ESC and open the real-time data recording function, to check the throttle, voltage, current, temperature, RPM and other data in real-time operational status of the ESC and motor.
Note: Due to the short transmission distance of bluetooth, the operational distance is only about 3 meters.
Fire-new communication protocol can speed up set parameters and upgrade firmware.
The ESC adopts fire-new communication protocol. It greatly improves the speed of setting parameters and upgrading
firmware. The speed is increased by 2 times when being used with the LCD G2 series and 3-4 times faster when using
OTA Programmer.
Note: LCD G1 / WIFI Express uses old protocol, so the data speed remains the same!
Multiple Programmable Items
The ESC contains nearly 30 adjustable parameters, including throttle PWM frequency, brake
frequency, flexibility, boost/Turbo Timing which are commonly used in 1/10 XR10 Pro power system. It can
accurately adjust the power settings to suit any driving style and track surface.
Capacitor Thermal Protection
Capacitor thermal protection is designed and implemented into the ESC in which will effectively prevent capacitors from exploding and causing irreversible damage to the ESC due to overload.
Powerful Internal BEC
The built-in switch mode BEC with a maximum output of 15A and voltage adjustable from 6V to 8.4V (step:0.1V) allows the use of various standard servos, high voltage servos.
Advanced and Secure Electronic Switch
The dust, dirt, and waterproof switch housing ensures a long reliable life for your ESC and electronic switch, it will not suffer from the problems most standard on/off switches encounter.
The ESC is IP5X rated. Its has superior dustproof protection in which protects the esc in all types of environments.
