Formulated specifically for clear polycarbonate RC car and truck bodies, Gold Mirror Chrome is applied inside the shell, shining through the plastic for a striking reflective finish. For the chrome layer to adhere properly and produce maximum shine, it must be backed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome (SZX10200 or SZX10209). Without the black backer, the chrome layer will remain fragile and may wipe off easily.

For external applications (non-polycarbonate surfaces), the chrome must be applied over the Ultimate Black Backer, then sealed using Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat (SZX10900 or SZX10909). Only light coats of clear should be used—heavy coats will dull the gold chrome effect to a muted grey. Because the mirror effect is most intense when used inside polycarbonate, always test on a scrap piece before painting your final project.
