For a durable, highly reflective result, it must be backed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome (SZX10200 or SZX10209). Without the black backer, the chrome layer will wipe away easily and will not adhere properly.

For external applications (non-polycarbonate surfaces), the chrome must be applied over a black backer, then sealed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat (SZX10900 or SZX10909). Light, thin coats of clear are essential—heavy coats will dull the chrome to a grey finish. External applications cannot achieve the same perfect mirror effect as painting inside polycarbonate, so testing on scrap material is always recommended.

Application Notes

1. For polycarbonate: apply inside the body, then back with Ultimate Black Backer.
