• Premium Chassis Options: Aluminum or Carbon:
  The SSX125 offers a choice between 2mm 7075 aluminum and 2.5mm high-quality carbon fiber chassis plates, each precisely machined with strategically placed cutouts to optimize flex and rigidity. The aluminum version delivers a more stable feel on high-grip tracks, while the carbon chassis provides a nimble, responsive driving experience. Choose the option that best matches your driving style and track conditions for peak performance.
• Ultra Low Center of Gravity:
  By eliminating traditional design elements like a center shock on top of the battery, the SSX125 significantly lowers its center of gravity. The new rear damper system repositions mass toward the back, resulting in better cornering stability and improved handling under high loads. 

Advanced Suspension & Tuning Options

• Optimized Front Suspension: Solid suspension arms keep camber fixed at 0.5° and caster at 6°, proven to deliver excellent corner entry and exit characteristics. A carbon plate on top adds rigidity, and it can be removed to introduce extra flex when needed.
• Adjustable Chassis Flex: Carbon side braces mounted with aluminum posts let you tailor lateral chassis flex to track conditions. Loosen the top screws for more flex on bumpy or loose surfaces, or keep them tight on high-grip tracks for quicker corner exits. 
• Rear Damper & Spring: Instead of a center shock, the SSX125 employs a rear pod damper with a friction-based system. A spring pre-load can be set via the top nut, while an O-ring on an aluminum tube handles damping. This modern approach lowers the CG and provides smoother, more stable handling. A convenient set screw behind the damper adjusts rear pod droop without affecting side-to-side movement. 
• Side Tube & Spring: A reliable side tube and spring setup offers controlled lateral movement, with preload easily adjusted and different fluids and greases used for customizing the damping effect.

Precision Steering & Ackermann

• Adjustable Ackermann: Fine-tune steering characteristics with a simple two-screw system. Increase or decrease the Ackermann effect to control how the front wheels turn relative to each other, optimizing sensitivity and corner speed for any track condition. 
• Floating Servo Mount: The SSX125’s fully adjustable floating servo mount minimizes interference with chassis flex and ensures the servo is centered. It also accommodates various mini-sized servos, which are standard for 1:12 scale racing.
• Included Kimbrough Servo Saver: Protect your servo from damage while maintaining precise steering input—a must-have when you’re competing in tight, high-speed events.

Rear Suspension & Drivetrain

• Link Suspension: Two composite side links, an aluminum central hinge, and carefully planned geometry provide smooth, precise movement in the rear. This classic setup is proven reliable for 1:12 scale racing.
• Solid Axle: Modern 1:12 tracks often have high traction, making a solid axle the best solution. It’s lightweight, maintenance-free, and ensures straightforward power transfer.
• Eccentric Plastic Bushings: Adjust ride height quickly and precisely. The composite material also absorbs impacts, acting like a cushion to protect the axle and bearings during collisions.

Race Features:

• 1S LiPo Compatibility: The SSX125 accepts standard 1S LiPo packs in a 93 × 47 mm battery tray, ensuring perfect fitment.
• Recommended Motor: For Modified Class racing, Team Corally suggests the 6.5T Vulcan II, offering extreme power and speed. Stock Class racers can choose from other Vulcan II motors (e.g., 13.5T, 17.5T) to comply with specific race rules. 
• Mini-Sized Servo: Designed for mini servos, standard in 1:12 scale, ensuring low weight and a low center of gravity. Proper centering is crucial for optimal balance and consistent steering.
• 64DP Spur & Pinion Gears: The SSX125 includes a 64DP, 90T spur gear, while precision 64DP pinion gears are available for fine-tuning gear ratios. 
• Hassle-Free Maintenance: Pre-cut holes in the chassis expose key screws for quick adjustments. This thoughtful design minimizes disassembly, saving you time on race day.  

Recommended Attack Racing Tires: 

Available in 30, 32, and 35 shore ratings for both front and rear, these foam tires provide excellent grip and consistent performance. Their sleek dark metallic silver design adds style and requires no tire truing, letting you hit the track faster.
