Mugen Seiki Introduces the MTC3 Electric Touring Car Kit

Mugen Seiki is proud to present the MTC3, the latest evolution of the highly successful MTC2 and MTC2R platforms. The MTC3 prototype made its debut at the 2024 IFMAR World Championship, where it immediately proved its competitiveness. Both MTC3 cars reached the A Final, with Ronald Volker finishing 4th and Jacob Cruz securing 10th place in their first event. The MTC3 is packed with features designed to enhance handling, tuning, and lap times for competitive drivers.

New 1.5mm Aluminium Chassis

• Optimized for use with standard screws.

• Offers a wider range of torsional stiffness adjustments for precise tuning in various track conditions.

• Eliminates the need for a carbon chassis option.

• Features a lower center of gravity for improved cornering (0.5mm and 0.7mm differences).

• Redesigned to reduce chassis overhang, increasing clearance and minimizing the chance of chassis contact with the track surface.

New Shock and Upper Arm Angle Adjustability

• No need for shims, eliminating the risk of misplaced parts.

• Simplifies adjustments for faster and easier tuning.

New Adjustable Layshaft Height

• Enables use of the lowest possible spur gear position.

• Supports the use of a 90T spur gear, making the MTC3 versatile for various track conditions.

• Improves overall weight distribution for balanced performance.

New Upper Decks

• Allows for easy removal of the upper bulkhead plates.

• Provides quick access to the differential without needing to disassemble the entire rear section.

• Features more compact bulkhead designs for a streamlined setup.

New Shock Towers

• Shock towers directly attach to the bulkheads—no extra parts required.

• Supports both fixed and active shock configurations for enhanced setup flexibility.

New Short Shocks

• Simplified body mounting with front posts offering two adjustment distances.

• Rear posts provide three mounting options (horizontal, vertical, and horizontal with an additional part for securing the bodyshell).
