The AK Interactive 1/35 Trabant 601 S Rallye Plastic Model Kit recreates one of the most iconic vehicles of the former East Germany in a unique rally competition configuration. Representing the popular Trabant 601 S as campaigned during rally events between 1987 and 1989, this highly detailed kit offers modellers the opportunity to build a fascinating piece of both automotive and Cold War history.

The Trabant 601 was produced for more than 25 years with very few changes, becoming the most widely produced passenger vehicle in East Germany with over 2.8 million units manufactured. Following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, thousands of Trabants crossing into West Germany became one of the defining images of the collapse of the Eastern Bloc, cementing the vehicle's place in automotive history.

This kit accurately represents the later-production Trabant 601 S limousine variant from the second half of the 1980s, complete with modifications commonly seen on rally cars competing throughout East Germany and other Eastern Bloc countries.

Containing over 80 finely moulded plastic parts, the kit features a highly detailed interior, realistic chassis, vinyl tyres and precision 3D printed components to further enhance accuracy and realism. High-quality Cartograf decals are included with four authentic rally marking options, allowing builders to recreate colourful competition vehicles from rallies held between 1987 and 1989.

Whether you're interested in classic European cars, Cold War history or historic rally vehicles, the AK Interactive Trabant 601 S Rallye delivers an enjoyable and historically significant modelling experience. At Campbelltown Hobbies, it's an excellent addition to any automotive model collection.
