The Axial SCX30 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro 1/30 4X4 Rock Crawler RTR – Green brings the legendary capability and unmistakable styling of the Toyota Tacoma to Axial's compact SCX30 crawler platform. Designed as the dedicated Rock Crawler Edition, the Green AXI-3289T1 combines an officially licensed Toyota Tacoma ABS hard body with purpose-built crawler styling and a high-performance 4WD chassis.

Despite its tiny 1/30 scale size, the SCX30 platform has been engineered with serious crawling capability in mind. An angled skid plate helps the truck slide over obstacles rather than getting caught, while ramped axle housings and high-clearance rear links further reduce hang-ups on rocks and uneven terrain.

The chassis uses a forward weight bias to improve stability during steep climbs, while the Tacoma-specific longer wheelbase provides additional composure when navigating larger obstacles. Electronics are mounted low in the chassis to maintain a low centre of gravity and further improve crawling stability.

This Green Rock Crawler Edition transforms the Tacoma with a more aggressive, purpose-built appearance. The fenders have been deleted, while tube-style front and rear bumpers, a wider stance and larger tyres recreate the look of a dedicated full-size rock crawler.

The wheel and tyre package features officially licensed BFGoodrich Krawler tyres mounted on KMC Torx wheels. The soft-compound tyres feature factory-installed foam inserts, providing the grip and compliance required for technical crawling across rocks, dirt and indoor obstacles.

Scale realism is equally impressive. The officially licensed Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro injection-moulded ABS hard body is loaded with detailed moulded accessories, while front and rear LED lighting adds another level of realism. A clipless body mounting system provides fast access to the chassis without traditional body pins.

The SCX30's transmission is designed for easy maintenance and tuning. It's also compatible with optional SCX24 aftermarket worm gears, allowing different drivetrain ratios to be installed for further performance tuning.

Power comes from an Axial 88T 030-size brushed motor connected to a full-time 4WD drivetrain. The complete drivetrain runs on ball bearings throughout rather than bushings, providing smooth and efficient operation.

The included Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter features selectable throttle limiting, allowing maximum throttle to be reduced to 50% or 75% for newer drivers before progressing to full power.

Everything required to get started is included. The truck comes with a Spektrum 7.4V 160mAh 2S 30C LiPo battery, 0.5A USB charger, SLT2 transmitter and even four AA transmitter batteries.
