RC Career / Experience

RC racing only begun for me in January 2018, in the Junior development class where I quickly climbed the field, taking the next step into 2WD Stock before the year was out.

I attended my first State Title meeting in February 2019 (SA) and took home the Juniors Trophy.

2019 – I moved into the 2WD Mod Class, competing each club day (KEORCA) in the hotly contested field, regularly finishing at the tail of A main.  Best result 4th in A Main.

I competed in the 2019 JLG Nationals in the 2WD Mod Class and 4WD Modified Class in dad’s car.  While I didn’t have the outcome I wanted in the 2WD, I had my first drive in 4WD modified and managed to place 14th overall in the wet and muddy single qualifier that was contested.

My family comes from a Motor Racing background where car maintenance and set up are paramount.  I was taught at a very early age pride and respect for your equipment.  For me car preparation, maintenance and cleaning are key, and I carry out majority of this work myself with only a little assistance from dad.

RC Goals

I am looking forward to my 2020 year in RC racing, where I can continue to build on previous results and continue to develop my driving skills in my 2WD.  2020 will also see me take on the challenge of campaigning my own newly acquired B64D.   Which I hope will further progress my on track skills.

It would be an exciting opportunity to share my RC journey with the team at Campbelltown Hobbies as well as learning from the other drivers and increase my knowledge on car set up and driving techniques.

I feel that I would be a good asset to the Campbelltown Hobbies team as I am a good role model for the younger and newer Juniors who are regularly calling past my pit set up to see what tyres I’m running, where I also provide advice on how to clean and maintain their own cars.

Let’s bring on the 2020 racing season!!! Looking forward to it…….
