The journey of the RC10 4WD concept began at the inaugural IFMAR Off Road World Championships in 1985. At that event in Del Mar, California, Jay Halsey drove a prototype 4WD RC10. After winning the 2WD Stock class earlier in the day, he was in strong contention for the 4WD class as well, ultimately finishing a close second with the prototype buggy.

Despite the impressive performance of that early prototype, Team Associated would not release a production 4WD RC10 for many years. This led to aftermarket companies creating their own 4WD conversion kits, with hobbyists piecing together various components in hopes of achieving a working 4WD RC10.

Fast forward, and Team Associated has finally delivered what enthusiasts have wanted for decades: a complete, factory-engineered 4WD RC10 platform—no conversions, no sourcing rare parts, everything in one box.

Evolution Into a Stadium Truck: Introducing the RC10T 4WD

Building on the success of the RC10 4WD platform, Team Associated expanded the design into the stadium truck class with the all-new RC10T 4WD. The original RC10T from 1991 helped define stadium truck racing, and this modern release carries that legacy forward with a fully updated 4WD drivetrain, modern suspension geometry, improved durability and a classic aesthetic.
