Element RC Gaterunner 1/10 2WD Desert Truck Kit

Build a desert truck with race-inspired handling and detailed scale styling. The Element RC Gaterunner combines independent front suspension derived from the Team Associated RC10B6 with GKS rear trailing arms and an anti-roll bar. Its hard-anodised bronze chassis, reinforced supports and adjustable suspension provide a strong platform for off-road driving.

Required to complete

Add a steering servo, motor, ESC, transmitter and receiver, 2S LiPo shorty battery and compatible charger. These electronics and power accessories are sold separately.

Assembly and finishing

This is an unassembled builder’s kit. Assemble the chassis, suspension and drivetrain, fit your selected electronics, and trim and paint the clear cab before applying the included livery decals. The roof lightbar accepts 3 mm LEDs for an optional lighting installation. Photos show a completed, painted example.

Is the Gaterunner ready to run?

It is an unassembled kit that lets you build the truck and choose your own electronics.

What else is needed?

A steering servo, motor, ESC, transmitter and receiver, 2S LiPo shorty battery and compatible charger are required separately. The clear body needs trimming and painting.

Which battery does it use?

The Gaterunner is designed for a 2S LiPo shorty battery pack.

Are the wheels, tyres and body included?

Yes. The kit includes licensed General Tire Grabber X3 tyres, silver Method 701 Trail Series beadlock wheels, a clear Ecto cab and rear cage, interior figures and livery decals.

Can I add working lights?

Yes. The included roof lightbar accepts 3 mm LEDs for an optional lighting installation.

What suspension does it have?

It combines independent front suspension derived from a racing buggy with GKS rear trailing arms, a rear anti-roll bar and Factory Team oil-filled threaded shocks.
