The Gens Ace iMars Mini packs up to 60W of charging power into a lightweight charger that is easy to carry in your pit bag. It supports both G-Tech smart batteries and conventional RC packs, with charge and storage modes in one compact unit.

Battery compatibility

Suitable for 2–4S LiPo, LiHV and LiFe batteries, plus 2–12-cell NiMH packs. G-Tech packs offer automatic identification, while conventional packs use manual chemistry and mode selection. Batteries with other main connectors require a suitable XT60 charging adaptor.

What's included and required

Includes one iMars Mini charger. A compatible high-output USB-C power supply, suitable USB-C power cable and battery are required separately. This charger-only version does not include a mains power supply. Use a power supply suited to the charger's power requirements; basic low-output USB adaptors will not deliver its rated performance.

Getting started

Connect the charger to your compatible USB-C power supply, then connect the battery's main lead and, for lithium packs, its balance lead. Supported G-Tech batteries are recognised automatically. For conventional packs, select the battery chemistry and charge or storage mode using the charger controls. Charging current is managed automatically.

Does this charger include a mains power supply?

No. This is the charger-only version. Add a compatible high-output USB-C power supply and suitable USB-C cable.

Which batteries can it charge?

It supports 2–4S LiPo, LiHV and LiFe batteries, plus 2–12-cell NiMH packs. The main battery output is XT60; other main connector types require a suitable charging adaptor.

Do I need a G-Tech battery?

No. It also charges conventional batteries. G-Tech packs provide automatic identification, while conventional packs require manual selection of battery chemistry and operating mode.

Can I choose the charging current?

Charging current is automatically managed within the 1–5A range. There is no manual current setting.

Does it have a storage mode?

Yes. Storage mode can charge or discharge supported lithium batteries towards their storage level, ready for time between uses.

Can I use a basic phone charger?

A basic low-output USB adaptor is not suitable for rated performance. Use a compatible high-output USB-C power supply; 5V 1A adaptors are not supported.
