The Sikorsky SH-60 Sea Hawk is a U.S.-made multi-role naval anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopter, featuring a classic all-metal construction with a main rotor and a boom-mounted tail rotor. Power is provided by two General Electric T-700-GE-401-C engines, each producing 1,714 hp. The first prototype first flew in December 1979, and serial production began in 1982 and continues to this day. It is estimated that over 900 of these helicopters have been built as of 2017.
