As the 19th instalment in the Kyosho Vintage Series, the Fantom PZF T-33 is a special machine that realizes a dream from the 1980s. Back then, 1/12 scale racing was split between 4WD chain-drive cars, like the Kyosho Fantom, and 2WD cars with 3-point (3P) suspension, like the Plasma. Pro drivers discovered that combining the Fantom's 4WD drivetrain with the Plasma's high-grip 3P rear suspension created a dominant hybrid, famously known as the "Plasma Phantom." This specification was never sold as a kit, requiring drivers to convert and assemble the parts themselves. Now, after decades of requests, Kyosho has officially kitted this legendary car.

This is not just a simple fusion of re-released parts. The Fantom PZF T-33 is a high-performance machine, featuring a rigid carbon main chassis and upper plate. The front end uses a kingpin coil suspension, while the rear features the Plasma's FRP A-bar with a newly developed metal ball-connect joint for smooth, controlled flex. A ball differential with a 6mm carbon shaft comes as standard. In a huge benefit for racers, the foam tyres come pre-glued and, most importantly, pre-trimmed, eliminating the need for a costly tyre setter. Topped with the classic, quick-handling T-33 body, this kit is a must-have for vintage racing enthusiasts and collectors.
