Vallejo Pigments – Realistic Weathering Powders for Scale Models & Dioramas

Vallejo Pigments are high-quality, natural earth and iron oxide powders designed to recreate the realistic weathering and aging of vehicles, buildings, armor, and terrain. Perfect for dust, dirt, rust, mud, and smoke effects, these pigments bring life and realism to scale models, miniatures, and dioramas.

Ideal for simulating natural erosion and environmental exposure, Vallejo Pigments are especially effective on models exposed to harsh climates or rugged landscapes. Apply dry for subtle deposits, or mix with binders and textures to create layered, textured weathering.

To adhere pigments to a surface, use Vallejo Matt Medium (70.540) for a fixed finish, or Pigment Binder (26.233), which dries more slowly and allows you to simulate water and snow run-offs, or manipulate the pigment into crevices and panel lines for greater realism.

For advanced weathering effects, pigments can also be combined with Vallejo Diorama Effects products like:

• Transparent Water (26.201) – for oil, grease, or wet surface effects

• Sandy Paste (26.215) – for dry, cracked mud or coarse rust

Each pigment jar includes a childproof cap for safe and secure storage.
