To keep the wheel strong but shed weight these use centralized ribs on the inside of the wheel, this creates a rigid yet lightweight wheel setup. Finishing off the outside of the wheel is an innovative "glue catch" making tire mounting a breeze and keeping you from making a gluey mess.
