For proper adhesion and maximum reflectivity, the chrome layer must be backed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome (SZX10200 or SZX10209). Without the black backer, the chrome will not bond and can easily wipe away.

For external use or applications on surfaces other than polycarbonate, the paint must be applied over the Ultimate Black Backer and then sealed using Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat (SZX10900 or SZX10909). Only light coats of clear should be used—heavy application will dull the chrome effect. Because external applications cannot fully match the mirror brilliance achieved inside polycarbonate, always test on scrap material before painting your final project.
