Battery compatibility

Suitable for LiPo, LiFe, Li-ion and LiHV packs within its 1–4S range, plus 1–12-cell NiMH and NiCd batteries. It supports both Smart and conventional packs; Smart features require a compatible Spektrum Smart battery. Conventional lithium packs use the JST-XH balance connection as well as the main charge lead. IC3 and IC5 ports accept the corresponding EC3 and EC5 connectors.

Getting started

Connect the supplied power cord to the charger and an AC outlet, then select the appropriate IC3 or IC5 connection. Connect your battery; Smart Auto Charge can retrieve the settings from a Smart pack. For a conventional pack, select its chemistry, cell count and charge current, and connect its balance lead when charging a lithium battery. Monitor progress on the colour screen.

Can I charge two batteries at once?

The S155 has one charging channel. Select either the IC3 or IC5 connection to charge one battery at a time.

Does it charge Smart G2 batteries?

Yes. Compatible Smart G2 packs charge and balance through their main IC connector, with no separate balance lead.

Can I use conventional batteries?

Yes. It supports conventional packs within the listed chemistry and cell-count ranges. Conventional lithium packs connect their balance lead to the JST-XH balance port.

Is a separate power supply required?

No. The charger has an integrated AC power supply and includes a detachable power cord.
