Trumpeter 1/48 Z-19G Light Scout/Attack Helicopter Plastic Model Kit

The Z-19 is a light reconnaissance and attack helicopter developed in Harbin, China. It is a tandem, two-seat helicopter based on the armed version of the Z-9, which was produced under license from the French Eurocopter AS-365 Dauphin. This helicopter has similar functions to the Japanese OH-1. The Z-19 made its maiden flight in 2011 and was unveiled in 2012. It is used by the Chinese Army Aviation Corps, serving as a complement to the Z-10 attack helicopter.

The Z-19 is lightly armored. Both pilots have crash-resistant seats. As a reconnaissance and attack helicopter, its primary fire control system is an integrated optoelectronic turret located under the nose, which integrates infrared, television, and laser rangefinders.
