Phoenix 2020 Campbelltown Hobbies supported Driver

Campbelltown hobbies would like to welcome and Thank Phoenix for signing with Campbelltown hobbies, CHR for the 2020 RC Racing season. Phoenix will be starting his CH journey in our driver support program where he will work towards becoming a future Campbelltown hobbies team Driver. 

Phoenix is six years old and has been driving rc for 3 years and racing for 2years

He has shown a interest in cars and RC for as long as he could talk, and he proudly built his new XB2 Xray buggy with very little help.

He races only Xray kits and currently has a XB4 4wd stock buggy and Xb2 2wd Stock buggy, he also has a Xray short course truck which Is a modified XT2 stadium truck.

He recently got is hands on a  Sanwa MT44 radio which he loves and also uses Hobbywing Electronics and Savox servos.

His skill is dramatically improving with his understanding of racing lines and consistency, For a 6 year old to be achieving 96%+ consistency he shows he has got patience and drives with his head waiting to make his move for position or overtaking  back markers

His knowledge of Setup and tyre choice is impressive and he always gives great feedback on how he wants the car to handle

Phoenix recently took a great haul of trophies at  a series at one of his local track Glen Innes RC club taking 1^st in novice, and 1^st in juniors 

He always keen to get out and marshal and will be attending State titles to compete next year and hopefully the Nationals
