FMS 1/24 FCX24 Mercedes-Benz Unimog 421 RTR Grey

Licensed by Daimler-Benz AG, the FMS Unimog features numerous scale details, for a faithful reproduction of the full-size work horse. The engine hood can be opened, providing a convenient battery location as well as serving as a storage space for the electronics. In addition, the rear cargo compartment and the three-side wall have carved intricate patterns moulded to simulate the texture of real wood.

Unimog adopts the FCX24 crawler chassis. The mid-mounted power assembly has a low center of gravity and integrates the 2-speed transmission, transfer case and 130 motor. Power is transmitted to the front and rear axles through the universal joint drive shaft and axles are equipped portal axles which increase the ground clearance of the centre axle.

The two-speed mechanical transmission is operated by a 9g steering gear that can be switched using the third channel on the remote control. The low gear reduction ratio is 99, which is larger than that of similar products currently on the market. The torque output is strong, and easy for extreme climbing. The high gear reduction ratio is 24.75, and the speed is higher than that of all similar products currently on the market.
