The Hobbywing EZRUN MAX10 G2S 140A Combo with 3665SD G3 4000KV Motor combines the powerful MAX10 G2S 140A ESC with the matching EZRUN 3665SD G3 4000KV sensored brushless motor to create a factory-matched power system for high-performance 1/10 scale RC vehicles.

The MAX10 G2S is the evolution of the MAX10 G2, retaining the same power ratings and case while adding integrated Bluetooth programming, internal data logging and an additional 8.4V BEC setting for compatible high-voltage servos.

Bluetooth is built directly into the ESC's power switch, allowing connection to a smartphone through the Hobbywing HW LINK app without requiring additional programming hardware. From the app, users can adjust ESC parameters, review recorded data and perform firmware updates.

The MAX10 G2S also features internal data logging of the last 10 minutes of runtime. Recorded information can be reviewed graphically through the HW LINK app, providing an easy way to analyse the system after a run.

When paired with the supplied Hobbywing EZRUN 3665SD G3 motor, the ESC can take advantage of its advanced motor functions. Turbo Timing of up to 32 degrees can increase maximum RPM by up to approximately 25%, while compatible motor overheat protection provides additional protection for the power system.

The included EZRUN 3665SD G3 4000KV is a sensored 4-pole brushless motor designed to provide high torque, rapid acceleration and stable performance. Its CNC-machined aluminium housing, high-precision bearings and 5mm motor shaft provide the construction required for demanding short course truck, truggy and monster truck applications.

Both the ESC and motor are rated IP67 for dust and water protection, while a waterproof sensor cable maintains sensored operation between the motor and ESC.

Cooling is handled by an integrated heatsink and temperature-controlled frameless fan with side air discharge. The fan remains switched off while temperatures are low and automatically activates once additional cooling is required.

The adjustable 5A switch-mode BEC offers selectable 6.0V, 7.4V and 8.4V outputs, allowing the system to work with a variety of standard and high-voltage servos. A 3S battery or higher is required to access the 7.4V and 8.4V BEC settings.

While the MAX10 G2S 140A ESC supports 2S to 4S LiPo, the supplied 4000KV 3665SD G3 motor is specified for 2S to 3S LiPo operation. The combination therefore provides a powerful matched setup for compatible 1/10 short course trucks, truggies and monster trucks running up to 3S.

Important Notes

  • The supplied 3665SD G3 4000KV motor is specified for 2S-3S LiPo operation.
  • The 4000KV motor is at the specified MAX10 G2S 140A limit for a 3665-size motor when running 3S LiPo.
  • Although the ESC itself supports 4S, the supplied 4000KV motor is not specified for 4S operation.
  • A 3S or higher input is required to use the 7.4V or 8.4V BEC settings.
  • Turbo Timing and motor overheat protection work with the supplied supported Hobbywing motor.
