The Hobbywing EZRUN MAX10 G2S 80A Brushless ESC takes the proven MAX10 G2 platform and adds smarter programming, onboard data logging and expanded BEC functionality while maintaining the same power ratings and compact case design.

One of the biggest upgrades is Bluetooth integrated directly into the power switch. This allows the MAX10 G2S to connect directly to a smartphone using the Hobbywing HW LINK app, with no additional Bluetooth programming hardware required. ESC parameters can be adjusted through the app, recorded data can be reviewed and firmware updates can be performed wirelessly.

Designed for both sensored and sensorless brushless motors, the MAX10 G2S provides smooth and stable power delivery across the entire speed range. In sensored operation, it delivers strong acceleration from launch, precise control through slower technical sections and consistent performance during sustained full-throttle running and jumps.

The MAX10 G2S also introduces internal data logging, recording the last 10 minutes of runtime. This information can be reviewed graphically through the HW LINK app, giving drivers useful performance information after each run.

For additional performance tuning, the 80A MAX10 G2S supports up to 20 degrees of Turbo Timing. When used with a supported Hobbywing EZRUN 3652/3665 G3 motor, Turbo Timing can provide approximately 25% higher maximum RPM.

The adjustable switch-mode BEC provides 6.0V, 7.4V or 8.4V at 5A continuous, providing support for both standard and high-voltage servos. A 3S battery is required when using the 7.4V or 8.4V BEC settings.

Cooling is handled by the integrated heatsink and a temperature-controlled frameless cooling fan. The fan remains switched off when temperatures are low and automatically activates once the preset temperature threshold is reached. Its side-discharge design helps move heat away from the ESC.

Designed for demanding RC use, the MAX10 G2S features an IP67 dust and waterproof design, including a waterproof sensor interface. Protection systems include low-voltage protection, overheating protection, signal-loss protection and capacitor overheating protection.

Programming can be performed wirelessly using the integrated Bluetooth connection and HW LINK app or through a compatible Hobbywing LCD Program Box. An OTA Program Module is also supported.

Supporting 2S and 3S LiPo batteries, with an 80A continuous and 520A peak current rating, the MAX10 G2S is designed for 1/10 on-road cars, buggies, rally cars and short course trucks.

Important Notes

  • A 3S battery is required to use the 7.4V or 8.4V BEC settings.
  • Turbo Timing only operates with a supported Hobbywing motor, such as the EZRUN 3652/3665 SD G3.
