A TRADITION OF INNOVATION

In 1964, hobbyists Roger Curtis and Lee Yurada ventured into the slot car scene, establishing Associated Electrics (AE) and opening a local racetrack in Lynnwood, CA. As the slot car craze waned, Roger pivoted to the burgeoning world of radio-controlled cars. By 1969, he and Gene Husting founded the Team Associated RC brand, quickly earning accolades in competitive racing.

The 1977 IFMAR World Championships marked a significant milestone for Team Associated, with their RC100 securing first place. This victory laid the groundwork for a legacy filled with IFMAR wins, including the introduction of the electric-powered RC12E in 1978 and the RC12i's world title in 1982.

The RC10 Classic is engineered as a race car, not just a toy. It features fully adjustable four-wheel independent suspension, a rugged aluminum alloy monocoque tub, and race-proven components.

The A-arm/ball joint design allows for precise tuning of camber, caster, ride height, and spring rate, while the updated chassis accommodates both 6-cell NiMH and 2S LiPo battery packs.
